Daimyo: The Rise of the Empire is a game of resource management, dice drafting and card combinations.
At the start of each round, the first player rolls a fixed number of dice of different colors. Then, each in turn, the players choose a die from those remaining. The color of the die is as important as its value! When a player takes a die, he must place it on an individual board according to its color. The different zones allow you to do different actions (harvesting resources, constructing buildings, recruiting meeples, etc.). The values of the dice allow you to play special cards to perform bonus actions.
Several strategic axes are possible. Are you going to extend your political influence on the different islands of the archipelago? Or search the rubble of Ancient Civilization to reconstruct the Relics? Are you going to place buildings in all four corners of the map? Or will you recruit Heroes to expand your skills? Prove your worth as Daimyo, and bring the Empire back to life!
